Sunni scholars from Bangladesh visit holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS)

Mohammed Ali Nawaz Khan, head of the group, said on the sidelines of this visit: "The shrine of Imam Reza (AS) is a refuge and shelter for the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) all over the world and this love does not belong to the Shia Muslims alone."

Hawzah News Agency - (Mashhad - Iran) - A 22-member group of Sunni scholars from Bangladesh paid a visit to the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS), Central Museum and holy Quran Museum in coordination with AQR Center for International Affairs.

Mohammed Ali Nawaz Khan, head of the group, said on the sidelines of this visit: "The shrine of Imam Reza (AS) is a refuge and shelter for the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) all over the world and this love does not belong to the Shia Muslims alone."

He added: “Bangladesh has a population of about 180 million people, many of whom are devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) and hold mourning ceremonies during the months of Muharram and Safar.”

Also a deputy of Sayed al-Shohada cultural Institute in Bangladesh, Mawaz Khan added: "The Sunnis of Bangladesh are always eager to visit Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine and have always shown great devotion to it.”

“The spirituality of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine affects everyone. In this shrine, the pilgrims feel like being in safe haven under the protection of Imam Reza (AS) and therefore feel at peace and security,”

Nawaz Khan pointed to the group's visit to the AQR Central Museum and said: "There are valuable monuments in these museum that symbolize the culture and civilization of Iran and the Farshchian Museum exhibits very beautiful works of art."
