Zonnoori in the representative office of al-Nujaba Movement:‎

The chairman of Iranian parliament’s Commission for the National Security, saying that the Resistance ‎Front stood against the establishment of the devious caliphate in the region, described al-Nujaba ‎Movement an original and fecund outcome of the Jihad.‎

Hawzah News Agency - According to the report of al-Nujaba’s Centre for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, the chairman of ‎Iranian Parliament’s Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy, on Wednesday evening, ‎attending in al-Nujaba’ Centre for Relations and Media Affairs in Iran, participated in a news ‎conference held on the occasion of the Day of Resistance in the presence of the media activists, and ‎answered the questions of correspondents.‎

Upon the opening of the session, Hujjat al-Islam Zonnoori, pointing to the plots made by enemies ‎against Muslim nations and the imposition of the ۸-year war on the Iranian and Iraqi nations, ‎reiterated, “Following its defeat in the face-to-face battle, the enemy had to resort to proxy war and ‎formed terrorist groups such as the ISIS.”‎

He added, “If the Resistance and doughty combatants didn’t stand against enemy’s proxies, Takfiris ‎would totally ruin the true identity of Islam and the devious caliphate would be established in the ‎region.”‎

Then, the chairman of the Parliament’s Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy ‎described al-Nujaba Islamic Movement an original and fecund outcome of the Resistance Front and ‎said, “Al-Nujaba is an excellent, decent and original Movement that is firmly committed to and acts in ‎accordance with the religious principles, values and sources of religion, it fought against Takfiri groups ‎in Iraq and Syria and presented martyrs in defence of Islam’s grandeur.”‎

Appreciating the combatants of the Resistance for the part they played, especially in Iraq and Syria, ‎Zonnoori stated, “If the popular forces in Syria and the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (IPFC) in Iraq ‎didn’t fight together with the armies of the said countries, the ISIS would defeat the armies of these ‎countries.”‎

Saying that “knowing the enemy along with the Islamic vigilance”, “unity and solidarity” and the ‎‎“development and reinforcement of the Resistance” are three certain needs of the world of Islam in ‎the current time, he expressed confidence about the continuation of Resistance Axis’s victories due to ‎the signs appearing on the weakness of the Western-Arab coalition in Yemen.‎

The member of Islamic Consultative Assembly, describing the recent visit of al-Nujaba’s spokesman, ‎Nar ash-Shimmari, of Iran as significant, said, “This trip was effective as it could flaunt the power of the ‎Resistance Front as an influential organization, though the Dominance System can’t stand it. What ‎enemies want is a helpless non-backed Resistance, however, the nation, government and parliament ‎of Iran back up the Resistance Front and the Islamic Republic does whatever possible in reinforcing and ‎supporting the Resistance.”

In another part of this press conference, Hujjat al-Islam Zonnoori, describing the attempts made by the ‎US for forming a marine coalition in the Persian Gulf as taking the wrong path, warned, “If these ‎meddlesome files attempt to block the way of Iran’s oil cargos, they won’t survive. If the region is not ‎secure for Iran, it won’t be secure for anyone.”‎

He reminisced, “A part of the international waterway of Hormoz Strait is located in Iran’s waters and ‎whatever ship passing this region should observe our laws.”‎

Concerning the Zionist Regime’s joining the US-led marine coalition in the Persian Gulf, the chairman ‎of Islamic Consultative Assembly’s Commission for the National Security and Foreign Policy pointed ‎out, “If the Zionist Regime steps in the region, it will be crippled as we won’t stand its presence.”

Answering a question on what is going to happen to the Iranian tanker “Grace ۱”, Zonnoori maintained, ‎‎“In the international organisations, we have elaborated and proved that what the UK did was illicit. ‎They seized our tanker in the waters of Spain and not as they claim in the waters belonging to ‎Gibraltar; besides, the tanker wasn’t going to Syria, moreover, Iran is not obliged to observe Europe’s ‎sanctions against Syria. We have had some negotiations with the UK and the seized tanker is going to ‎be released in the coming days.”‎

About the occasional attacks of the Zionist Regime against the positions of the Resistance in some ‎countries of the region, he reiterated, “The life of this illicit regime is dependent upon destabilization ‎and provoking reactions in others so that it can show itself innocent and attract more supports from ‎the Zionism world lobby. But, nonetheless, Iran and the forces of Resistance act wisely and will ‎respond to the actions of this regime appropriately in the proper time, and what they do won’t remain ‎unanswered.”‎

The chairman of parliament’s Commission for the National Security assessed the moderation of some ‎positions of the Saudi Regime and the UAE towards Iran the result of their disappointment with the ‎US, and said, “Once they saw Iran downed the advanced drone of the US and the US could do nothing, ‎they reached a different conclusion and found that they can’t rely on the US; specifically the UAE that ‎has had some historical, cultural and religious links with our country.”‎

Zonnoori further noted, “Naturally, Iran, being able to punish the US, is good support for its ‎neighbouring countries. Relations between these countries and us mutually benefits both parties, and ‎if our country’s security is undermined, they will no longer enjoy security and accordingly, capitals will ‎escape countries such as the UAE.”

Finally, he noted, “We are observing some good signs, Saudi Arabia is treating Iranian Haj pilgrims ‎respectfully, and it indicates a change in the approach of this country to its links with Iran, and our ‎information demonstrates that the conditions of the region will ameliorate in the future.”‎
