Hawzah News Agency (Palmerston North, New Zealand) – A man clads in Nazi regalia as he hung around outside a mosque was "moved on" by police.
The man was spoken to by police on Monday afternoon, when he stood on the road outside the Palmerston North Islamic Centre.
He was wearing a bright red singlet with a swastika on it.
A police spokeswoman said no action against the man was taken.
"Police spoke to the man briefly suggesting he move on and he complied."
The mosque, on Cook St, has been the scene of an outpouring of grief since the terror attack in Christchurch on Friday, in which 50 people were slaughtered.
A steady stream of people has arrived to pay their respects and many have left flowers and cards, filling the footpath in front of the property.
Mosques around New Zealand have been under armed police guard since Friday's shootings.
