Hawzah News Agency (Beirut, Lebanon) – In an exclusive interview with Hawzah News' correspondent in Beirut, Sheikh Zahir Jaeed highlighted the importance of holding the International Conference of Muslim Scholars in Syria since it promoted unity within the Muslim community and paves the way for liberation of Al-Quds.

He added, "This conference was held at a very crucial stage of developments in the region simultaneously with the victories of Islamic Resistance over takfiri terrorists in Syria and Iraq."

"The International Conference of Muslim Scholars was a huge step in liberation of Jerusalem al-Quds which can only be achieved through unity of Muslim community and resistance against the enemies."

'Head of Islamic Action Front' in Lebanon further added, "The current unity between Sunni and Shia scholars is regarded as a strong answer to deteriorating thoughts of takfiris and Wahhabis."

Responding to a question about the increasing Iranophobia in Arab world, Sheikh Zahir Jaeed remarked, "The United States, The Zionist Regime and Saudi Arabia are propagating to tarnish the image of Iran in the Sunni world; but the proper policies of Islamic Republic of Iran and its wise leadership Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei gives confidence to Sunni Muslims all over the world."
