Pakistani people prepare for Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) birthday

With the Eid Milad-un-Nabi just a few days away, preparations for the celebrations of the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sawa) entered the last lap in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Hawzah News Agency - The local residents have illuminated houses, mosques and bazaars besides decorating them with colorful buntings, lights and green flags to express their love with the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sawa). 

Large banners and billboards are on display across the twin cities to highlight Eid Milad events, while government, educational institutions, and social and religious organisations have planned special activities to mark the Eid including Naat and eulogy recitations competitions and Darood-o-Salam Mahafil. Processions have also been planned for the day. 

The Embassy of Pakistan also held a Naat Khawani to celebrated Eid Milad Al Nabi in Paris. Members of the Pakistani community and officials of the Embassy attended the Eid Milad Celebrations. 

The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moin ul Haque in his concluding remarks said that the life and teachings of the Prophet (sawa), are beacons of light for the entire humanity. 

 He said that Prophet Muhammed’s (sawa) message revealed to humankind through the Quran and his own life was about peace, tolerance and moderation and peaceful co-existence with followers of other religions.
