Imam al-Ridha Arbaeen Committee established in Iraq

Service committee of Imam al-Ridha Shrine for Arbaeen was established by order of the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi.

Hawzah News Agency- Hussein Yekta, who was appointed as director of the committee by the decree of the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi said, “We are going to render a variety of services to Hussaini pilgrims in Najaf and Karbala, the road between these cities, and at the Mehran border crossing.”

 

Pointing to the strong presence of Astan Quds Razavi in the great Arbaeen walk this year, he added, servants of the Razavi Holy Shrine will settle in Najaf and Karbala and on-the-way retinues (pilgrims’ welfare camps) in order to serve Arbaeen pilgrims.”

 

Also referring to establishment of Imam al-Ridha (A.S.) retinues by Astan Quds Razavi at pillar number 285 along the Najaf-Karbala road, he said, “This retinues endowed to Astan Quds Razavi by a benevolent, will offer different services to pilgrims as well as other retinues under the development plan and will receive about 3000 pilgrims every night.”

 

Declaring about rendering special services at the Mehran border by Astan Quds Razavi, he added, “In recent years, pilgrims faced many problems at this border after entering the country and the deficient serving performance was clearly observed in this district. Hence, Astan Quds Razavi decided to render its services to pilgrims in this region through establishing a retinue there.”

 

Referring also to presence of a group of members of Astan Quds Razavi’s service committee during the Hussain Arbaeen in Iraq, Yekta said, “Meanwhile attending the Imam al-Ridha (as) retinue and hoisting the flag of Astan Quds Razavi in this retinue, this group is responsible for coordinating the arranged plans."
