Hawzah News Agency- Most sins could be forgiven if you smile in a friendly way towards other people, so if one strengthens his or her friendship with the others they will be forgiven by God, it is not that sins are only forgiven by tearful eyes and crying.
Ayatollah Mohi-al-Din Haeri Shirazi took part in a friendly meeting with Head of the Service Center for Islamic Seminaries at the presence of wives and children of Seminary students and scholars in Qom, Ayatollah Shirazi referred to Imam Ali’s (PBUH) treaty with Malek Ashtar and said,” Imam Ali (PBUH) stated in this treaty, “those who are wrongdoers and commit sins must not be treated equally as the righteous ones in terms of payment, benefits, social respect and rewards. If you treat them all equally then the righteous ones would be reluctant to do the right thing and the wicked ones would grow rude and fearless in their evil acts,”
The Member of Assembly of Experts then explained, one of the major issues in our management system is the fact that everyone is paid based on their monthly tasks and work, he then said, “According to this method of payment all employees including those who waste time at work while playing video games and so on are treated equally with those who work honestly with a good conscious.
Ayatollah Haeri, a lecturer in Qom Islamic seminary went on, “ Payment based on work time is wrong, the best way is to pay each employee based on their effective tasks and work, accordingly military rankings based on time of service is unjust, since they must be given based on every person’s performance and abilities,”
He then reiterated that since we have acquired Western Models and act upon them in our universities and academic settings, and as a result the Islamic seminaries also act upon these Models who are being practiced in Iranian universities, therefore we are facing so many problems and challenges as a result. Ayatollah said, “European universities are based on this theory that human beings are lowermost creature and could be controlled from outside, but heavenly religions are based on the fact that human beings are the uppermost and are in charge of their behavior,”
Ayatollah Haeri further said, “ If one wishes to achieve success he or she must have a plan, their wake up time, morning activities, entertainments and exercise time must be specified clearly and if they don’t have a clear plan ahead they might not succeed in the end,”
He pointed at the importance of saying morning prayers at first possible time and then staying up until sunrise, this improves people’s lifestyles, he then said, “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise,”
Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi stressed on the importance of child upbringing and said, “Father must be his child’s best friend and playmate, and he must play with his children at home as the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) did so,”
“To encourage people affects their performance greatly; we must appreciate the Service Center of Islamic Seminaries since they encourage talented students. Hostility and antagonism makes us separated from the House of Prophet (PBUH), as a matter of fact most sins could be forgiven in the eyes of God Almighty if you smile in a friendly way towards other people, so if one strengthens his or her friendship with the people around him then their sins will be forgiven by God, it is not that sins are only forgiven by tearful eyes and crying,”
