Hawzah News Agency (Washington D.C., US) - Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser Jared Kushner was highly instrumental in persuading him to leave the 2015 nuclear deal in May, said Kevin Barrett, an author, journalist and radio host with a Ph.D. in Islamic and Arabic Studies.
"Kushner is a fanatical Zionist extremist who is trying to finish the genocide of Palestine on behalf of the extremist Likud wing in Israel," Barrett told Press TV on Monday.
"Iran is really the last major country standing between the Zionists and the complete genocide of Palestine and for that reason the Zionists believe they have to find a way to essentially use extreme force…against Iran," he added.
Former US secretary of state John Kerry on Sunday censured Trump's withdrawal from the nuclear deal, saying the US president makes things up and does not often make decisions based on fact or advice.
"Unfortunately — and I say this sadly — more often than not, he really just doesn't know what he's talking about," Kerry, who led the American team in nuclear negotiations with Iran, said in an interview with CBS News.
Kerry angered Trump in May after reports said he had secretly met with world leaders in a bid to salvage the Iran nuclear deal ahead of Trump’s withdrawal of the US from the agreement.
Trump slammed the ex-diplomat on Twitter, saying "John Kerry can't get over the fact that he had his chance and blew it! Stay away from negotiations John, you are hurting your country!"
Kerry also denied Trump's claim that the Iran agreement is weak and harmful to the US, saying the allegation is false and disruptive to the possibilities of international nuclear policy.
Trump ''is a complete tool and puppet of the most extreme Zionist, without even knowing it,'' Barrett said.
''I think Kerry may understand some of this but he’ll never say it in public because of the complete Zionist domination of American politics,'' he added.
