Hawzah News Agency - Seyyed Sajed Ali Naqavi, top Pakistani scholar related on the present situation in Yemen warning of the humanitarian crisis in the country rejecting military solutions for the Arab nation.
 
The United Nations says a record 22.2 million Yemenis are in need of food aid, including 8.4 million threatened by severe hunger.

 
Pakistani cleric expressed concern over threats against Yemeni nation and said,” Thousands of Yemeni civilians have been killed during Saudi atrocities while famine and humanitarian crisis are threatening the lives of many people in some other areas.”
 
A high-ranking UN aid official recently warned against the “catastrophic” living conditions in Yemen, stating that there was a growing risk of famine and cholera there.

The cleric stressed that the situation in Yemen is not to the interests of Islamic countries and there is no military option for the present predicament in the country; hence, everything should be settled through talks.”

The Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights announced in a statement on March 25 that the war had left 600,000 civilians dead and injured until then. The war and an accompanying blockade have also caused famine across Yemen.

Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyyed Sajed Ali Naqavi highlighted solidarity of Muslim nation to solve the basic problems in the world of Islam and noted that solidarity of all Muslims can lead to liberation of Jerusalem al-Quds.

Saudi Arabia and its allies launched the war on Yemen in March 2015 to reinstall a former Saudi-backed regime and crush the Houthi (or Ansaarullah) movement.
