 Ayatollah Khamenei: Iranians not exhausted

The participation of people in the Quds Day rallies shows that Iranians are more alert and motivated than before and not exhausted at all, said Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Friday.

Hawzah News Agency (Tehran, Iran) - The ones who follow the enemy and say that the people of Iran are exhausted are de facto tired themselves,' said Ayatollah Khamenei in his sermon following the Eid al-Fitr prayers in Tehran.

He said the people of Iran partook in the Quds Day rallies on a sweltering day while fasting and after a night of vigil.

Referring to the Holy Quds International Day rallies in other countries, he said that the rallies in other countries were also held better than before, which means 'despite the enemy's propaganda, the intimacy between other Muslim countries and Iran has developed.'

Expressing that the relationship between Iran and other Muslim countries are moving toward more intimacy, he added, 'The Satanic powers are always plotting against the Iranian people because they are worried about their resistance, authority and independence, but they will always be defeated.'

'US President [Donald Trump] announced that they have spent seven trillion dollars in the West Asia and gained nothing; that means that the US has been defeated and the Great Satan with all that temptations and pomp has not been able to reach its goals.'

He said that the enemy's today's conspiracy is using economic pressure against the people of Iran to discourage and exhaust them; people and the authorities should try against that.

He also urged to the Iranian people to have more unity against the enemies.

End.
