Islamic centre of England to hold Quran competition in June

The Islamic Centre of England's 20th Quran competition will be held on Friday and Saturday, June 8-9.

Hawzah News Agency (London, England) - According to the center, memorization, recitation, and Tafseer (interpretation) of the Quran, will be the categories of the contest.

Muslims adhering to all Islamic schools of thought can take part in the Quranic event, which will be separately organized for men and women in three age groups of below 10, 10 to 15, and older than 15.

 

 

The competition is annually held in the holy month of Ramadan with the aim of enhancing unity and friendship among Britain's Muslims.

It is also aimed at promoting the Quranic culture and Islamic morality and encouraging Muslims to learn the Quran and attend Quranic activities.

 

 

The Islamic Centre of England is a Shia Islamic religious and cultural center in London whose mission is to provide services to members of the Muslim community, in particular, and the wider community at large, focusing on religious guidance and cultural issues.
