The Shia cleric asserted, "We will not be able to have an external effect in the outside world until we have internal organizing." // "As long as you are alive you must seek to understand and learn and teach."

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - At a meeting with a group of members of Imam Mousa Sadr organization which was held at the international Esra foundation of divine knowledge in Qom, grand Ayatollah Javadi Amoli highlighted the necessity of education and gaining knowledge and said, "There is a Hadith from Imam Sadiq (a.s.) in which he orders one of his followers: Let your books be your inheritance for your children."

He explained, "In fact Imam Sadiq (a.s.) directly orders his followers to gain knowledge as long as they breathe; he says if you are alive you have to have your cultural legacy and leave it behind for your children; that means you can never say I have retired or graduated. As long as you are alive you must seek to understand and learn and teach."

The Shia cleric asserted, "We will not be able to have an external effect in the outside world until we have internal organizing."

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli stated, "We should know we will not decay with death, instead we will come out of our worldly skin. Quran does not say death shall taste every living being, but it says 'Every living being shall taste death'. We are the ones who will make death die and we are the ones who will remain."

His Eminence added, "If human being knows that he/she is eternal, he/she will not get misled, nor he/she will block anyone else's way."
