Israeli military target couple with baby

Images reveal Israeli forces in their latest instant of violence against Palestinian couple carrying a baby in northern region of West Bank. The occupied territories of Palestine witness almost daily instances of settler violence.

Hawzah News Agency (Occupied territories of Palestine) - A movie revealed Israeli forces in their latest instant of violence against Palestinian couple carrying a baby in northern region of West Bank.

The incident took place in the village of Burin in the north of the Israeli-occupied West Bank on Friday.

The pair was fleeing escalation prompted by Israeli settlers trying to force their way into the village. The Israeli forces were called to the area after the settlers clashed with the locals.

The couple managed to flee just in time before the projectile exploded.

The police reacted to the viral video by claiming that the couple had been running in a way that is "characteristic of rioters hurling stones at officers whilst risking their lives and trying to escape in attempt to avoid arrest at any cost."

It also claimed the forces did not "notice the baby."

The occupied territories of Palestine witness almost daily instances of settler violence, with Israeli forces using excessive force and staging arrest sprees during clashes.

Sending shockwaves throughout the international community, Israeli settlers set fire to two houses in the Palestinian village of Duma, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, on July 31, 2015.

The attack, which involved firebombs and Molotov cocktails, killed 18-month-old Ali Saad Dawabsha on the spot.

Ali’s 32-year-old father, Sa'ad Dawabsha, also died of burns a week after the assault. His mother, Riham, was pronounced dead after spending five weeks on life support.
