Head of Iran’s Islamic seminaries said, "Some extreme views have totally left religion out of the scene of human life, and there are also radical and fanatical perceptions of religion, which introduce religion as the cause of division, war and strife."

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) - In a meeting with Dragan Todorovic, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Iran who was visiting the Al-Mustafa university, Ayatollah Arafi said, "Qom is one of the most important bases of intellectual and philosophical sciences in the world. In regard to cultures and religions, we deeply believe in the interfaith dialogue and place great importance into the shared interreligious values."

Head of the Al_Mustafa university evaluated the sensitivity of scientific and religious centers to humanitarian issues and challenges ahead very important and stressed, "Everyone should help with solving the existing problems".

 

In another part of his remarks, Ayatollah Arafi Head of Iran’s Islamic seminaries called extremism in relation with religion a major obstacle facing humanity in the present era and stated, "Some extreme views have totally left religion out of the scene of human life, and there are also radical and fanatical perceptions of religion, which introduce religion as the cause of division, war and strife."
