Hawzah News Agency (Kampala, Uganda) – Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif arrived in Ugandan capital, Kampala on Thursday, October 26 to meet with some high-ranking officials of the African nation.

The Iranian Politician was welcomed by Ugandan Deputy foreign minister as well as the Iranian ambassador to Uganda upon his arrival in Kampala on Thursday.

During his visit, the Iranian foreign minister had a meeting with the representative of Al-Mustafa International University in Uganda and he was briefly informed on the ongoing activities of Al-Mustafa branch in the African country. Both sides discussed potential capabilities of this Islamic University to be expanded in Africa.

Expressing his happiness over the present condition and promotional activities of this Islamic center in Uganda, Foreign minister Zarif asserted, "I appreciate Al-Mustafa University's activities and believe that such endeavors are considered as a true religious deed."
