Ayatollah Araki: “Resistance, key to victory

Senior Shia cleric attended the ceremony in the holy city of Qom to tribute, Mohsen Hojaji, Iranian soldier martyred by Daesh terrorists in Syria and highlighted resistance as the key to victory.

Hawzah News Agency - Ayatollah Mohsen Araki, secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, participated the ceremony to mark Iranian soldiers martyred

in Syria held in the city of Qom to hail the new Iranian generation for their loyalty to objectives of the Islamic Revolution and called resistance as the key to victory.

He said,” While we are on the verge of commemorating the 40th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, we are finding the third and fourth generation who is loyal to the objectives of our great

movement just like the founding generation.”

The cleric alluded to Qur’anic verse which explains the message of martyrs and said,” Enemies, even as mighty as the US and its allies, cannot beat the determination of Iranian nation.”

He hailed the Iranian nation for its firm determination against enemies and said,”This nation does not bow to the US anymore” and added,” It has shown, through this great contribution and

resistance, that it is the winner.”

Ayatollah Araki referred to the pressures against Iran as ineffective saying,” When the whole world is standing against our nation, impose sanctions against our people, wage war and still our

nation stands against all these predicaments, then this is certain that Iranian people will resist and will be the final winner of this confrontation.”

Member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts warned that if the Islamic nation is downgraded and enemies successfully carry out their plots, it will be the belittlement for Islam.
