Hawzah News Agency (Najaf, Iraq) – Different groups of Iraqi people including a delegation from country's Oil Ministry as well as a group of representatives from Imam al-Ridha Holy Shrine separately met with senior Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi in the city of Najaf on Friday, August 4.
Iraq must develop high-tech sciences
During a meeting with Iraqi Popular Mobilization forces and youth from the province of Babylon, the Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi urged Iraqi Muslims to follow on the path of Ahlul Bayt (as) in order to learn genuine Islamic teachings. "You must make the best effort in your studies." the Iraqi cleric advised the group of Iraqi youth.
"Our youth and officials must be careful about the imported and foreign ideas since some enemies are seeking conspiracies against Islam and Iraq."
Grand Ayatollah al-Najafi further noted, "Doors of Islamic seminaries are open to everyone; they are ready to address the anti-Islamic misgivings and answer the questions raised about Islamic principles."
"As Muslims we're all responsible to invite others to Islam and promote kindness and peaceful coexistence among people. The fight against ISIS (or Daesh) terrorists must also continue on the battle fields until they're totally destroyed."
