“Offering educational content based on different Islamic jurisprudence at al-Mustafa University is a truly remarkable strategy.”

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – In a meeting with Head of Iranian seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi in Qom on Wednesday, Abdul Wahhab Widraghou, a senior Sunni scholar from Burkina Faso Tijaniyyah sect, hailed Al-Mustafa international University for its unifying attitude regarding Islamic sects in presenting religious teachings to the global audience and said, “Offering educational content based on different Islamic jurisprudences at al-Mustafa University is a truly remarkable strategy.”

 

Admiring Iranians for their hospitality, the Sunni cleric added, “During our trip to Iran, we’re going to become familiar with the potential capacities of this country and to learn more about the valuable experiences of Iran’s religious and scientific institutes.”

 

 In the end of the meeting, Abdul Wahhab Widraghou presented a brief report on the activities of Tijaniyyah Muslims in Burkina Faso and reiterated, “The Muslim scholars in our country not only pay serious attention to holding religious ceremonies, but also attend to meet with the Muslims by visiting their houses and greeting them in person.”
