Nigerian delegation discusses to send students to Karbala

Nigerian delegation visited Imam Hussein Holy Shrine and its custodian and discussed sending more people to Karbala to study jurisprudence with them.

Hawzah News Agency - A delegation from Nigeria visited Imam Hussein Holy Shrine on March 11, 2017. They met with the custodian of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, and they explained to him how Nigerian people are harassed by their

government.

They discussed sending more people to Karbala to study jurisprudence.

Africa, which has approximately a billion people, has 12, 500, 000 Shia Muslims, and the number is increasing.

The director of Warith El-Embya Institute for Islamic Studies of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Dr. sheikh Munjid El-Ke’bi said that the institute always welcomes students from all over the world. He also said that the institute, which is currently full

of students, has 12 Nigerian students.

El-Ke’bi said that Imam Hussein Holy Shrine would build an annex in order to receive more students, for there are many students from all over the world waiting for vacant seats.
