First Shia cleric to be aired on S Korean TV

Hujjat al-Islam Mahdi Mansourikhah, Supervisor of the Korean Language courses at al-Mustafa International University in Iran, participaterd in a TV documentary produced by a Korean Broadcasting , making him the first Shia cleric ever to be aired on South Korean TV.

Hawzah News agency (Qom, Iran) – The documentary is being produced by Korean director Jaeoh Yi and its main topic is Iran and Islam. It is going to be aired in April this year on the KBS channel.

 

The producers had previously sent an invitation to the Shia cleric asking him to take part in this documentary in order to provide some information about Islam and Shiism.

 

During the interview, Hujjat al-Islam Mansourikhah answered different inquires about differences between Shia and Sunni Islam, the philosophy of Hijab, women's role in Islam, Islam's doctrine on economic issues, Quranic solutions to boost economy, Islamic strategies to develop Iran ,etc.

 

In the end, he was asked to explain his idea regarding American president, Donald Trump's, recent remarks on banning Muslims from entering the U.S; Mansourikhah answered all the questions during the interview with respect to Korean culture and traditions. He also invited Korean people to visit Iran in order to know more about Islam and Shiism.
