Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) – Speaking at the International conference for cultural dialogue between Iran and the Arab World, Fouzi Ali Husayn al-Alawi, a Tunisian Islamic Scholar, delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony held on January 21 in the city of Qom, Iran.

 

Reiterating that Iran is the land of dialogue, he added, “Historically, Iran has never been a threat to Arab nations and has never tried to colonize Arab countries.”

 

Al-Alawi further urged Muslim nations to engage in dialogues with Iran as a strategic option, “It’s possible to realize the shared beliefs and principles among Muslim sects by eradicating extremism and discord within the Islamic world.”

 

Head of Tunisia’s Mosarat Institute went on, “We need to take the initiative from those who breed discord and sectarianism among Islamic sects, we must stand firm against takfiris’ inhumane actions and atrocities.”

 

“Such international talks could result in uniting the Islamic Ummah and lead us to free our nations from the Neo-colonialism, “ the Tunisian scholar said.

 

In the end, Al-Alawi expressed hope that the International conference for cultural dialogues between Iran and the Arab World would bear realistic and applicable solutions to the challenges facing the Muslim community.
