Sunni leader condemns anti-Shia Takfiris in India-held Kashmir

A renowned Sunni leader of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has condemned the takfiris in Srinagar (India-held Kashmir) urging his followers to remain united and counter all those who were plotting to divide Kashmiris on sectarian lines.

Hawzah News Agency (Karachi, Pakistan) - Mirwaiz Umer Farooq stressed on the need of national unity and alerted the followers to remain cautious of those elements who were trying to disturb the unity of Muslims and Kashmiris.

 

He condemned those takfiris who torched the images of Lebanese Hezbollah Secretary General, Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah and Iranian president, Hasan Rouhani by those elements outside a mosque.

 

The leader of APHC said that such condemnable plots were being hatched to deprive Kashmiris of the fruits of their legitimate and successful struggle.

 

Farooq urged his followers to remain united and counter all those who were plotting to divide Kashmiris on sectarian lines. He vowed to give them a crushing response.
