Abdelghani Isa al-Khanjar

"It seems that Al Khalifah rulers believe the fastest way to gain American-Western support for their regime is to embrace the Zionist regime and develop their bilateral relationship; All prominent figures in the region have warned Al Khalifah about the consequences of insulting Sheikh Isa Qassim." said Bahraini activist.

Hawzah News Agency (Qom, Iran) –Abdelghani Isa al-Khanjar, a Bahraini human rights activist and academic, had an interview with Hawzah News on the ongoing conditions in Bahrain; here are some excerpts from the interview:

Al Khalifah-Israel ties have recently entered new stages, what are your thoughts on their developing relationship?

Al-Khanjar: Since the advent of Al Khalifah dictatorship in Bahrain, their ties with the Israeli politicians have been explicitly developing over time; the purpose of normalization of Bahrain-Israel ties is to breed hostility towards the Islamic Resistance.

It seems that the Al Khalifah rulers believe the shortest possible way to gain American-Western support for their illegitimate government is to embrace the Zionist regime; Their relationship with the Zionist regime have now entered a new stage, thus becoming explicit.

Prominent Figures' Reaction towards Revocation of Shaykh Qasim's Citizenship

The prominent figures in the region have repeatedly asked the Al Khalifah regime to put an end to their unwise actions against their citizens; As you probably know, Bahrainis are holding a sit-in around Shaykh Isa Qasim's house in the city of Diraz in order to protect their spiritual leader. Despite Al Khalifah forces' heavy crackdown, Bahrainis' protests have lasted for 200 days now. The regime is planning to arrest Shaykh Isa, they might even attempt to take their vicious plots to the next level and harm Shaykh Isa. But the Bahraini people will not stop their support for the senior Shiite cleric and are holding their congregational prayers near Shaykh Qasim's house. They stage rallies on a daily basis in Diraz and demand their legitimate revolutionary rights from the ruling regime. Such measures send a clear message from the Bahrainis to al Khalifah regime that the people will never back down on their resolve.
