Al Hoda Quranic Center opens in Malaysia

Al Hoda Quranic School was opened in a ceremony attended by head of the Religious Research Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Head of the center said: "Shia Muslims have always been actively engaged in carrying out Quranic activities in different areas."

Hawzah News Agency (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) – In a ceremony, Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad al-Hasun, head of the Religious Research Center (supervised by Grand Ayatollah Sistani's office) opened a Quranic school in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Wednesday, December 28 .

Expressing his happiness for opening the center, Hujjat al-Islam al-Hasun said, "Despite the false rumors against Shia Muslims, they have always been actively engaged in carrying out Quranic activities in different areas; I hope the opening of Al Hoda center creates new possibilities for doing Quranic activities."

During his visit to Malaysia, Al-Hasun is going to meet with different scientific and religious scholars; delivering speeches to address some of the religious misgivings regarding Islam are among his other plans in the Muslim country of Malaysia.
