Hawzah News Agency-(Mashhad, Iran) Hezbollah al-Nujaba Secretary General held a meeting with “Sayyid Ebrahim Raeisi”, Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, on Friday, September 2nd, and mentioned the history of al-Nujaba and said “ al-Nujaba carried out 3000 operations during the American occupation of Iraq”.
Stressing on Iran’s support of the Resistance groups he said “al-Nujaba soldiers were trained and armed by Iran and they have gained a lot of experience in the battlefields.”
Clarifying on al-Nujaba’s activities in Iraq he said, “After American forces left Iraq, we turned to social activities to fight cultural backwardness by cultural and intellectual Resistance.”
Speaking on the areas of terrorist activities in Iraq he said, “Just today, ISIS exploded a bomb near Al-Kadhimiya shrine. This terrorist group managed to advance in areas where intellectual context was ready for them. Because of this, the intellectual base of ISIS had dominated these areas long before ISIS occupied them."
He added, “As Imam Khomeini emphasized, we must be active in intellectual and cultural fields as well and follow the Ahlul Bayt (a.s.) to guide others. To achieve this, Sunni scholars have a great responsibility on their shoulders and must guide people.”
Clarifying on the Mosul operation he said, “Some are against Al-Hashd Al-Sha'abi’s participation in this operation, however we insist to be part of this operation. Barzani and Daeshi Politicians do not want Al-Hashd to take part in this operation so they can begin a sectarian war in Iraq.”
Pointing out at Al-Fu'ah and Kafrya he said, “In these cities, terrorists are very close to Shiite people, therefore it is not possible to find soldiers there. Despite all this, we took part in the liberation operation of these two cities.”
He added, “After the Supreme Leader’s order to break the siege in Al-Fu'ah and Kafrya, al-Nujaba took more serious actions and gained some victories and managed to get close to these Shiite cities. Now the operation to break the siege and liberate these cities has begun."
“One of the actions to liberate these cities was to lay siege to some areas in Syria where terrorists were and gain privilege from terrorists in breaking the siege in Al-Fu'ah and Kafrya. This was similar to what happened in al-Zabadani.”
He stressed, “Now, the city center in Aleppo is under our control. Although the terrorists managed to break a small part of our control but the whole area is still under al-Nujaba fire.”
In the end, speaking about the Western and Arab countries’ support of terrorists in the area, he stated. “Countries like Turkey and Qatar explicitly support the terrorists in Syria. This support includes facilitating their commute to the country and arming them.”
After the meeting Sheikh Akram al-Kaabi took part in the Friday Prayers of Mashhad and then met with Sheikh Ahmad Alamolhoda, member of the Assembly of Experts and Mashhad’s Friday prayers leader.
