Enemies have made no achievements in Syria

Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Da’moush said, “The enemies have been defeated by the Islamic Resistance [Hezbollah] in the political and military arenas and in fact, they have made no military achievements.”

Hawzah News Agency (Dahiyeh, Lebanon) - In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Beirut suburb of Dahieh, Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Da’moush, the vice-president of the Executive Council of Hezbollah, said that the victories of the Syrian Arab Army and its allies in Eastern Ghoutah constituted a fiasco for the United States and Saudi Arabia in that country.

The Lebanese Shi’ah scholar added that the Jaysh al-Islam terrorist group, which was forced to retreat from Eastern Ghoutah, was created by Saudi Arabia and the United States, was in fact a direct threat to Damascus and the Syrian government.

Hujjat al-Islam al-Da’moush said the inability of Jaysh al-Islam terrorist group to protect Eastern Ghoutah region from the Syrian army led Saudi Arabia and the Zionist regime to provoke their allies so that they could possibly prevent the advances of the Syrian army and so they could give more assistance to their Takfiri terrorist allies.

His Eminence added, “The enemies have been defeated by the Islamic Resistance [Hezbollah] in the political and military arenas and in fact, they have made no military achievements. The United States and Western countries are afraid of the start of a huge war in Syria because they are well aware of the heavy cost.”

He explained, “Thus, the United States and its allies have begun a new plan – domination over the southern regions of Syria – after they have suffered various defeats in the country so that they can create a safety belt for the Zionist regime.”

Hujjat al-Islam al-Da’moush stressed that the Zionist regime was afraid of Iran’s response to their criminal actions after attacking the T-4 Military Airbase in Homs Governorate and martyring several Iranians.

“The Zionist regime knows well that their attack on the T-4 Airbase will not remain unanswered,” he said.

On April 9th, two Israeli F-15 warplanes carried out strikes from Lebanese air space on the T-4 Military Airbase and that Syrian air defense systems shot down five of eight missiles fired.

In the early hours of April 14th, the United States, the United Kingdom and France launched a barrage of missile attacks against Syria in response to what they claim to have been a chemical attack by the Syrian government in Douma.
