Qur'anic writing workshop held in Mashhad

The verses of victory were written in the Museum of Qur’an and the Supreme Leader’s gifts of Astan Quds Razavi

The director of Department for Research and Introduction of Works of Astan Quds Razavi's Libraries, Museums and Documents Center Organization, referring to the presence of calligraphers of Mashhad and Khorasan Razavi in the workshop said, "In this workshop, the verses of victory were written by Nasta'līq and broken Nasta'līq.

Hawzah News Agency (Mashhad, Iran) - Javad Farahmandnejad said, "The one-day workshop was organized by the organization of Libraries, Museums and Documents Center of Astan Quds Razavi, participation and cooperation of the Astan Quds Razavi's Cultural Organization and Astan Quds Razavi's Artistic Creation Institute."

He also mentioned the presence of visitors from the countries of Pakistan, Lebanon, Tanzania, Canada and other countries at the Museum during the holding of workshop and stated, "In the workshop, the written copies by the Masters of calligraphy art, as a spiritual souvenir from Razavi Holy Shrine were bestowed to a number of visitors."

"Considering the widespread welcome of the Museum's visitors from Qur'anic writing workshop, we intend through cooperation with Astan Quds Razavi Art Creation Institute and the Calligraphy Association, by holding numerous workshops in different days of the year move toward satisfying the visitors” Farahmandnejad also expressed pointing to holding of the workshop during the New Year's holidays.

It is worth mentioning, from the beginning of the current year, Astan Quds Razavi Museums with the participation and cooperation of the Astan Quds Razavi Art Creation Institute have held the second Qur'an writing and calligraphy workshop entitled "The Art Day of Islamic Revolution".
