Photo/ Al-Hussayni Mourning Processions Commemorate Ceremonies of Arbaeen Pilgrimage

The processions in the form of regular groups headed to the shrine of the master of the martyrs (PBUH), where poems were recited that showed the great pain in their hearts because of this sad memory, and then they went to the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (PBUH) to complete the mourning ceremonies passing through the square between the Two Holy Shrines.

The condolence processions represent the provinces of Iraq in addition to processions from abroad, and their arrival will continue successively until the eve of twentieth of Safar, according to the Department of rituals and processions at the two holy shrines in Karbala, explaining, "the arrival of the processions will be according to a plan developed for their movement, to ensure smoothness and ease of movement and not intersect with the movement of visitors, through paths developed for this purpose".
