Hawzah News Agency- Head of Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi had a meeting with Daniel Grigori Matrosaf, priest of the Russian Orthodox Church and head of the Church's relations with the Islamic world, during which he highlighted interaction and dialogue between religions and said, "The Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) always emphasize convergence and empathy of the followers of divine religions in order to fulfill the goals of the prophets.”

He added,” In the present era, when the enemies of the divine religions have united and are attacking the holy sanctities and divine values, this responsibility of unity, cohesion, cooperation and empathy among the followers of the divine religions is felt more than ever.”

The head of Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute (RA) noted,” We have a duty to convey divine knowledge to the people in a proper format and appropriate to human needs, because if this knowledge is conveyed well and is compatible with the intellect and nature of humans, it will be welcomed by people.”

A member of Qom’s Society of Seminary Teachers said,” The enemies of religion are afraid of the acceptance of religion and spiritual teachings by the people of the world, so they cast doubt on religious values, they try to present an ugly image of Islam and divine religions in order to undermine the divine religions and, in this direction, they create ISIS and Wahhabism.”

Ayatollah Rajabi stated,” The school of Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) says that any person, whether Muslim, Christian or Jew, who is oppressed and asks for help, we must help and defend them.”
