Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abul Hassan Nawab, the chancellor of University of Religions and Denominations, met with Allameh Khalili, Grand Mufti of Oman, during his trip to this country.

In this meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Seyyed Abul Hassan Nawab, referring to the recent events of the Islamic world, said,” The enemies of Islam have always tried to create discord among the Islamic community by raising deviant issues in order to prepare the ground for their own rule.”

He continued by praising Allameh Khalili's wise positions regarding developments in the Islamic world and added,” Scholars of the Islamic world have a valuable role in the awakening of the Islamic Ummah and we all must try to prepare the ground for the realization of the new Islamic civilization by strengthening the faith and the spirit of believing in God with unity.”

In another part of this meeting, Grand Mufti of Oman Allameh Khalili stated that we are all responsible for the oppressed of the world and said,” In the Holy Quran, God Almighty has considered the duty of every human being to defend and support the oppressed, and we all have a duty to help the oppressed of the world.”

Grand Mufti of Oman further added,” Today, the Islamic world is going through difficult times, but with faith in God, unity and resistance, we will overcome all these difficulties and the glory of Islam will resonate in the world.”

It should be noted that in this meeting, a group of Omani scholars were also present, and the officials discussed the solutions to strengthen Islamic unity based on the recent events of the Islamic world.
