Al-Mustafa

The officials of the University of Religions and Denominations paid a visit to the Al-Mustafa International University in order to familiarize themselves with the international activities of this complex and met and discussed with its chancellor and other officials.

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, the head of Al-Mustafa International University, introduced Al-Mustafa and described the features and achievements of this international scientific center in a meeting with the president and directors of the University of Religions and Denominations in Qom on Thursday, December 7.

Referring to the membership of Al-Mustafa University in the world's prestigious academic unions, he said,” Al-Mustafa scientific degrees in 170 fields, orientations and levels are issued by the Ministry of Science, and of course, the system of seminary levels is also presented in Al-Mustafa for those who are interested.”

Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi, referring to the rare international diversity of Al-Mustafa International University added,” In addition to the face-to-face section, Al-Mustafa Virtual University welcomes non-attendee students from all over the world, and every year two thousand students attend the short-term education and study opportunities courses of Al-Mustafa Institute.”

Referring to the education of the followers of different Islamic religions in centers inside and outside the country at Al-Mustafa International University, he said,” One of the significant and effective services of the Al-Mustafa University is the teaching of Persian language to non-Iranians, which, according to those involved in this field, plays an irreplaceable role in the development of the Persian language around the world.”

The Shia cleric went on to speak about signing of a memorandum of understanding between Al-Mustafa International University and three hundred scientific and academic centers in Iran and around the world, and stated,” In the past, a memorandum of understanding was signed between Al-Mustafa and the University of Religions and Denominations, and we hope that by updating it, new areas for cooperation will be created between two universities.”
