Iraqi Cleric

One of the cultural officials of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces said,” Today, the Hashd al-Shaabi has become the only hope of the Iraqi people to defend, protect and preserve the sovereignty of Iraq against any foreign threats, and most of the Iraqi armed forces seek to preserve the Hashd al-Shaabi as the only guarantor for survival of Iraq and they strongly support it.”

Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Hajj Sheikh Muhammad Al-Heydari, one of the cultural officials of the Iraqi Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization Forces) , said in the joint meeting of the "Mobilization of Professors, Managers and Elites of Qom Seminary" and the "Assembly of Representatives of Students and Scholars of Qom Seminary" that was held in the meeting hall of the seminary on Wednesday, November 29 in Qom, “I am one of the students of Martyr Mohammad Baqer Sadr and one of his relatives, and I am happy to be present in the group of professors of Qom seminary here today.”

He stated,” When ISIS entered Iraq, it captured a large area of Iraqi cities and reached the gates of Baghdad. But after the famous fatwa of the supreme Shia authority of Najaf, Grand Ayatollah Sistani, the general public mobilized for Jihad and joined the army and a group of Mujahideen under the command of martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis accompanied and supported by martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani entered the battle against ISIS terrorists.”

Hujjat al-Islam al-Heydari stated,” Martyr Hajj Qassem Soleimani played a special role at the beginning of the establishment of the Hashd al-Shaabi, and this presence was accompanied by a decision by the Supreme Leader of Iran to support the Hashd al-Shaabi.”

The Iraqi cleric further stated,” After the victory of the Hashd al-Shaabi and the destruction of ISIS, many conspiracies took place for the collapse of the Hashd al-Shaabi; But fortunately, it did not come to an end and this military group was officially registered in Iraq, and today, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, the current Prime Minister of Iraq, strongly supports and approves Hashd al-Shaabi.”
