Indian Seminarian

Referring to the establishment of the "Waiting Station" in the center of Jaunpur, India, the missionary lady from India said, "The Waiting Station" is a new propaganda method to remind women that we are waiting for the Imam Zaman (PBUH) and our Imam will come when we are ready.”

Hawzah News Agency- Mrs. Zainab Khan is a female student and missionary from India who graduated from Jamiat Al-Zahra University (PBUH) 15 years ago and is currently the director of Khadija Al-Kubra Seminary with more than a hundred female students.

This lady, who participated in one of the training courses of Al-Mustafa Skill Training Center along with a group of seminary managers in India, is currently one of the active and successful missionaries in India. What you are reading is the interview of Hawzah News with this Seminary lady:

As a female student, how did you enter the field of advertising after graduation?

Female students may face special conditions when they enter various fields of education, culture and propaganda. When I came to the city of Jaunpur in the state of UP, there was not even a lady wearing chador in this city. At that time, I started from home and accepted five female students, and when the number of my students reached more than 10 people, we started preaching activities in the city. Sometimes we were ridiculed, because there, hijab did not mean anything and people were not familiar with chador, burqa and hijab, which are common in Iran, but we did not retreat and continued our activities, so that today after 13 years that we are present in this city, in addition to the seminary, missionary activities are carried out in the city and villages, and we see women wearing hijab in the real sense of the word.

How much influence can women seminaries have on women in the Islamic world?

Seminaries are very influential, Qom is the cradle of science and education and students should use the opportunity, when we move away from here, we don't have access to resources and we realize what a blessing we have lost and we regret it.

We want the whole world to be made right, and that happens when we take advantage of the opportunities we have. We must assess the needs in our countries and work in various cultural, social, propaganda fields based on regional needs.

In addition to studying, students should beware of the needs and problems of their region in relation to the dissemination of Islamic knowledge and participate in specialized courses according to regional needs.

Regarding the expansion of women seminaries in different countries, especially India, how do you see the future?

My view of the future is very bright and I hope for the future. I have been living in Jaunpur city for 13 years, and I have worked hard to promote religious culture among the people. I believe that from now on, by trusting in God Almighty and calling on the Ahl al-Bayt, peace be upon them, and with hard work and effort, we will soon be able to achieve what we set out to achieve. Today, people's taste has changed and they welcome our preaching activities. Before, They didn't pay enough attention to our promotional programs, but now people ask for it, we just need to know how to behave so that people are attracted.
