Workshop

A training workshop was held in collaboration with Maulana Azad University of Hyderabad, India and Noor International Microfilm Center with the cooperation of East Asifiya Library of Hyderabad in the meeting hall of the language faculty of this university.

Hawzah News Agency- a training workshop was held with the participation of Maulana Azad Urdu University of Hyderabad, India and Noor International Microfilm Center with the cooperation of East Asifiya Library of Hyderabad for three days from November 24 to 26 in the meeting hall of the language faculty of this university.

In the opening ceremony of this workshop, Professor Seyyed Ain Al-Hassan, Chancellor of the University, Professor Ishtiaq Ahmad, Executive Vice Chancellor, Mrs. Aziz Bano, Dean of the Faculty of Languages, Dr. Mehdi Khajeh Piri, Director of the Noor International Microfilm Center, Professor Asadullah Abdoli Ashtiani, a notary and a teacher of Siyaq, Dr. Ali Akbar Niroumand, the representative of the Microfilm Center in Hyderabad, Dr. Seyyedeh Esmat Jahan, the head of the Persian and Central Asian Studies department, were present along with students.

In the beginning of the event, the chancellor of this university, referred to the position of Iranians in science and art and asserted,” Great Muslim scholars have emerged from the land of Iran.”

He further appreciated the efforts of Dr. Khajeh Piri for holding this workshop and using experienced artists and professors.

In the closing ceremony, the head of the language faculty of Maulana University, while thanking Noor International Microfilm Center, pointed out the satisfaction of the participants and asked for the continuation of scientific and research cooperation with Noor Microfilm Center.

In the final part of the workshop, the participants expressed their points of view on the topics raised, and the certificate of participation in the workshop was presented to the participants by Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed, the executive vice chancellor of the university.

Noor International Microfilm Center focuses on the Iranian-Indian traditions of the past in the field of writing and book design in order to use modern technologies to provide a favorable platform for identifying, collecting, preserving and protecting the written heritage of the Islamic world including Iran. The headquarters of Noor Microfilm Center is located in the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in New Delhi, India.
