Cyberspace: An Opportunity

The Head of Qom Seminary Teachers' Society evaluated the cause of some delays in the field of content development in the cyberspace due to the lack of systematic communication between the seminary and the governing bodies and stated,” communication on the individual level will not achieve the necessary results; Systematic communication must be established to reach desired goals.”

Hawzah News Agency- The head of Qom Society of Seminary Teachers Ayatollah Hosseini Bushehri had a meeting with the Secretary of the Supreme Council and the head of Iran’s National Center for Cyberspace on Saturday, November 25 in Qom during which the cleric referred to the issue of Gaza and expressed,” the guidelines of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution and the good consultations of the officials of the Islamic Republic, especially the President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs as well as the huge turnout of Iranian nation are commendable in supporting the people of Gaza.”

While appreciating all the groups that supported the resistance of the Palestinian people during this period, he said,” We hope that the Palestinian people can continue to stand on the path of resistance against the Zionist regime.”

Friday Prayer Imam of Qom further called the cyberspace the concern of all elites and officials of the country and stated,” Although the cyber space is a tool that the enemies use to advance their goals; But at the same time, it can be regarded as an opportunity for us.”

The Vice-Chairman of Iran’s Assembly of Leadership Experts added,” A significant part of people's lives has become dependent on the cyberspace and the enemies are trying to institutionalize their sinister cultural goals and create a spirit of indifference in the form of cognitive warfare in the society.”

Referring to the increase in the number of cyber-attacks on Iran, he pointed out,” With the capabilities that have been created, if the enemy attacks today, it has to wait for his response to this attack, which shows our strong presence in this front.”

Ayatollah Husseini Bushehri continued,” We must keep pace with the world in terms of infrastructure and even be innovative and creative in terms of providing new services.”

The professor of Qom seminary addressed the officials of the Iran’s Cyberspace Organization,” Do not consider your work as something trivial; Rather, you are in charge of a huge hardware and software movement and you must enter this field with all your heart and with deep study and initiative and innovation.”
