Hawzah News Agency- the closing ceremony of Allameh Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Tabatabaei (RA) International Conference was held on Tuesday, November 21, hosted by Al-Zahra University in Tehran, at the International Conference Center of this university.
Zahra Nazem Bekai, Chancellor of Al-Zahra University (PBUH) said in this ceremony,” On the 42nd demise anniversary of the contemporary scientist Late Allameh Tabatabaei, we should try to understand the dimensions of the great commentator of the Holy Quran, an expert in technical sciences, familiar with the conditions of time and place due to being contemporary and We have an ascetic in the heart of the people, who the great founder of the Islamic Revolution said about him,’ a great interpreter who spent his life on the path of elevating the word of Islam and is considered one of the greatest treasures of science and knowledge.”
She added,” Allameh Tabatabaei’s greatest work is Al-Mizan Quran Interpretation, which according to Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, just as the Quran is the repository of all sciences, al-Mizan is the interpretation of this repository that Late Allameh Tabatabai benefited from and presents it to everyone. The effect is like a tree whose branches must be shaken in order to use its fruits.”
Nazim Bekai went on to say,” According to the great leader of Islamic Revolution, one of the characteristics of Allameh Tabatabaei is that he realized what he had learned from science, and because he tied theoretical reason to practical reason, therefore, he was a bubbling spring that gave his knowledge to others in the bed of time and raised outstanding students.”
The Chancellor of Al-Zahra University further stated,” The unique characteristic of Allameh Tabatabaei, according to Iran’s Supreme Leader, was the creation of a strong intellectual base with an aggressive approach against the influx of non-divine thoughts of the time, an intellectual base that fills the existing gaps and argues in defense of religion against fake and material ideologies. “
Nazem Bekai said,” Today we should also defend the ideals of Islam, our suggestion is to prepare a road map for the formation of an intellectual base in line with the vision and guidance of the wise leader of the Islamic Revolution. Free thinking and theorizing chairs should be guided so that scientific centers can perform this vital task properly.”
