Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Muhammad Hadi Mufatih, head of the Islamic Center of Hamburg, delivered a speech in the gathering of Shiite and Sunni worshipers of this center, referring to the recent attacks on the Islamic Center of Hamburg, said, "During the 64 years that have passed since its establishment, The Islamic Center of Hamburg has always emphasized on religious activity based on law and respect in society and has not had a single violation of the law in these years.”

He added, "During these 64 years, there has never been any anti-Semitic speech or action by the imams of this center, and we have the best interaction with all religions in this society."

Hujjat al-Islam Mufatih stated,” Perseverance in faith becomes meaningful when maintaining it leads to difficulties for a person, as Hazrat Aba Abdullah (PBUH) said on the Ashura Day, ‘And if there is a calamity for the believers, the level of faith of people is determined when there are difficulties. "

He added,” These tests are carried out by God so that people's persistence in action can be seen, because otherwise many people will make big claims regarding religion and faith.”

It should be noted that the Islamic Center of Hamburg is the oldest mosque and Islamic center in Germany and the European region, which was established in the 1940’s at the request of a group of Iranian businessmen living in Hamburg with the support of the late Grand Ayatollah Boroujerdi, the Grand Shia Source of emulation at that time. This mosque, which is also known as the "Blue Mosque", is one of the old and touristic buildings of the city of Hamburg, Germany.
