Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, the Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University, had a meeting with the head of the Endowment and Charity Organization of Iran on Sunday, November 19 during which he honored the Al-Aqsa storm operation, the martyrs of the Islamic resistance and the oppressed martyrs of Gaza. Hujjat al-Islam Abbasi introduced the extensive domestic and international activities of Al-Mustafa University and stated,” Al-Mustafa International University now aims at scientific diplomacy and has cooperation agreements with hundreds of scientific centers and universities in Iran and around the world; this is one of the blessings of the Islamic Revolution.”
He added,” Al-Mustafa International University benefits from many capacities, one of which is teaching Persian language to non-Iranians.”
The professor of Al-Mustafa University further considered Persian to be the language of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution since many scientific works of the followers of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH) school are published in Persian. He continued,” So far, several hundreds of thousands of people have learned the Persian language directly and indirectly through studying at Al-Mustafa International University, this valuable capacity is available to different parts of Iran.”
Emphasizing the place of scientific and educational activities in Al-Mustafa University, Hujjat-ul-Islam Abbasi pointed to the annual holding of events such as Sheikh Tusi Scientific Research Festival and Al-Mustafa Quran and Hadith Festival and said,” Al-Mustafa International University was established with the blessing of the Islamic Revolution and hosted tens of thousands of scholars from more than 130 different nationalities, it has created a unique opportunity in the history of the seminaries of the Ahl al-Bayt school.”
In addition, Hujjat-ul-Islam Seyed Mehdi Khamoushi, the head of the Endowment and Charity Organization of Iran, expressed his satisfaction at the meeting with the Chancellor of Al-Mustafa University and stated,” Al-Mustafa is a product of the Islamic Revolution, which has fulfilled its scientific and educational missions well in different parts of the world.”
Emphasizing the necessity of supporting the activities of Al-Mustafa graduates, he noted,” Media activities are one of the most important fields in today's world, and Al-Mustafa International University should pay special attention to this capacity in its programs.”
Referring to the establishment of knowledge-based centers in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the head of Iran’s Endowment and Charity Organization said,” the establishment of knowledge-based centers is welcomed in different parts of the world and Al-Mustafa University can carry out valuable actions in this regard with the cooperation of the other universities.”
At the end of this meeting, it was decided to draw up a memorandum of cooperation between Al-Mustafa International University and the Organization of Endowments and Charitable Affairs.
