Hawzah News Agency- in the 6th edition of the World Islamic Humanities Award, which was held in Tehran at the same time as the 7th International Islamic Humanities Congress, and in this edition, Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Vaezi, head of the Islamic Propaganda Office, and Mahmoud Hekmatnia, a professor at the Department of Jurisprudence and Law at the Culture and Thought Research Institute were chosen this year from the world award.
The Permanent Secretariat of the International Congress of Islamic Humanities in order to strengthen the motivations, encourage and persuade Muslim researchers, both Iranian and non-Iranian, to innovate and theorize in the field of Islamic Humanities and, most importantly, to set a precedent in this field, every two years holds a World Science Award and has awarded prizes to the best innovations and theories.
Below is a brief resume of Hujjat al-Islam Ahmad Vaezi and Dr. Mahmoud Hekmatnia:
Hujjat al-Islam Ahmed Vaezi
Professor Ahmad Vaezi, head of the Islamic Propaganda Office of Qom Seminary, is a student of such professors as Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani, Sheikh Javad Tabrizi, Seyyed Kazem Haeri, Misbah Yazdi, Javadi Amoli, Sadeq Larijani and Hassanzadeh Amoli.
He is a lecturer in the seminary and university and the author of numerous research works and articles.
He has also served as the Vice President of Research at Qom Seminary, Vice President of International Affairs of Al-Zahra University (PBUH), Vice President of Education and President of Bagher al-Uloom University and Vice President of Education and Research of the Judiciary are some of his other records.
Dr. Mahmoud Hekmatnia
Dr. Hekmatnia is a professor in the Department of Jurisprudence and Law at the Institute of Islamic Culture and Thought. The author of numerous articles and works in the field of law, awarded by several important festivals, including the Farabi Festival, the book of the seminary, the festival of Allameh Tabatabai, the book of the year, etc.
He has served as the editor and member of the editorial board of several magazines, research deputy of Islamic Culture and Thought Research Center, head of the Jurisprudence and Islamic Law Commission of the Supreme Assembly of Islamic Humanities, deputy of intellectual property rights of the Ministry of Justice, member of the seminary commission of the Supreme Council of Cultural Revolution are part of his scientific and managerial records.
