Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Ali Abbasi, Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University delivered a speech at the joint meeting for signing of the memorandum of understanding between Al-Mustafa and Seyed Jamaluddin Asad Abadi University, referring to some of the activities of this scientific and international center, said,” Al-Mustafa University now has more than three hundred academic centers inside as well as cooperation agreements abroad and has a very good capacity in the international sector; now, this capacity should be used to expand the international activities of Iranian universities.”
He considered the universities of the Islamic Republic of Iran to be highest in the region in terms of original scientific quality and added,” the capacity of scientific research in the Islamic world is mainly at the disposal of the universities of Iran and Turkey, and our universities can use this position along with the advantage of cost-effectiveness in order to attract international students.”
The Chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University further noted,” In the last few years, Iranian universities have started quality activities in the international sector, which brings a lot of benefits to the country, especially in the cultural field. With nearly 40 years of experience in the international arena and several decades of work in the field of teaching Persian to non-Iranians, Al-Mustafa University can be a partner of the Iranian universities in this regard to expand cooperation.”
He considered figures such as Seyyed Jamaluddin Asad Abadi to represent Islamic models against the model of Western material civilization and clarified,” Some people think that our problem with the West is only in political issues; While this is a civilized and fundamental problem, Material civilization claims the end of history and the dismantling of morality, justice and spirituality in the world and has brought consequences such as colonization, genocide and the destruction of the family foundation.”
The chancellor of Al-Mustafa International University stressed that many people around the world are affected by the consequences of materialistic civilization and emphasized,” One of the most important strongholds in this civilizational confrontation are our scientific and academic centers, which should serve as the guides of Islamic societies. The likes of Seyed Jamaluddin Asad Abadi also paid attention to this fact in their activities and considered the unity of the Islamic world as the only solution to victory.”
