Hawzah News Agency- In an interview with Hawzah News, Ayatollah Mohsen Faqihi, a member of Qom’s society of seminary teachers, made some remarks on the occasion of Aban 13 according to the Persian calendar which marks the National Day of Fighting Arrogant Powers in Iran. He said, “Based on Imam Hussain’s (as) teachings on the day of Ashura, no Muslim shall go under the burden of humiliation and oppression.”
The Senior Shia cleric further highlighted the need to confront the influence of the world’s arrogant powers, “To fight arrogant powers means to fight the oppressors, it means to stand up against those who violate the rights of individuals,”
Ayatollah Faqihi then went on to point out the reasons why the US government is considered as a manifestation of arrogance in the world, “Today, The US government is supporting the child killer regimes of Israel and Saudi Arabia, their hands are stained with the blood of innocent Yemeni women and children,”
“It’s obligatory to fight any arrogant or oppressive regime and one must never give up their fight against them,”
“It’s our religious duty to stand against the hegemonic powers of the world; we must fight the oppressors in any part of the world and help the oppressed in any way we can,“ the member of Qom’s Society of seminary teachers concluded.
