Tunisian Scholar: Imam Khamenei's Leadership Beyond Borders

Zahbieh Al-Fahim, a Tunisian scholar, emphasized that Imam Khamenei was not merely the leader of a single country, confined to specific borders, but rather he is a symbol of a school that transcends borders and a global choice for resisting occupiers and oppressors, and aiding the oppressed.

Hawzah News Agency- Al-Fahim, in a speech at the International Webinar "Martyr Sayyed Ali Khamenei; Imam of Unity, Proclaimer of Jerusalem, and Martyr of the Holy Month of Ramadan" held by the Global Assembly of Islamic Sects, stated,” During a period when capitals bowed to the Global Arrogance, and the issue of Palestine was reduced to empty slogans in the discourse of many individuals, or was ignored, or used as a bargaining chip, Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei stood firm between two fronts. One front considers Palestine a political obstacle, and the other sees adherence to the rights of Palestinians and supporting them as a measure of honor and a balance for faith and reason.

The Tunisian scholar noted that Imam Khamenei's powerful and influential discourse has always been a firm supporter of the rights of the Palestinian people to achieve freedom and independence, and this discourse was never affected by threats or sanctions.

She added,” Supporting the Palestinian cause was never merely a slogan for Imam Khamenei, rather an official option in the country's policy, manifested in material and spiritual support and media coverage. He believed that resistance is the natural right of the Palestinian people, and the imbalance of power cannot be a reason to abandon struggle.”

Al-Fahim said,” While some governments justified their silence on the Palestinian issue under the pretext of political realities, Imam Khamenei presented a different definition of political reality, considering it as recognizing the enemy and defending their rights, land, and holy sites. Because yielding to one's rights does not bring peace, rather lays the foundation for submission and defeat.”

Al-Fahim concluded by saying,” His discourse was based on a comprehensive and holistic view, and he believed that liberating the land begins with liberating the will, and supporting the Palestinians.”
