Hawzah News Agency- the Najaf Ashraf Clerical Assembly released the statement amid an intensified confrontation between the front of truth and the forces of global arrogance, warning that enemies of the Islamic Republic are employing a wide range of political, economic, and psychological plots to weaken Iran’s position.
The statement declares that at this historic juncture—when Iran is being pushed toward a false choice between submission and confrontation—the clerics of Najaf renew their pledge of allegiance to the Islamic Republic, which they described as the primary source of honor, dignity, and protection for Muslims and the oppressed worldwide.
The assembly stressed that its support for the system of Islamic governance under juristic leadership is not a temporary or tactical political stance, but rather a religious and doctrinal commitment rooted in faith. According to the statement, the Islamic Republic functions as a vital sanctuary for Shiism and the broader Muslim Ummah, and its preservation is inseparable from the preservation of Islamic identity and dignity.
The Iraqi clerics warned that any attempt to weaken or undermine Iran—whether through soft warfare, media manipulation, or economic pressure—amounts to targeting the central pillar of resistance and endangering the aspirations of free people across the world.
“We consider our own survival, identity, and dignity to be inseparably linked to the survival of the Islamic Republic,” the statement said, adding that all material and moral capacities will be mobilized under the leadership of Ayatollah Khamenei, whom the clerics described as embodying the spirit and stance of Imam Hussain in confronting oppression and injustice in the modern era.
The statement also praised the Iranian nation and its leadership for what it called legendary steadfastness, noting that recent developments have further demonstrated that divine support, disciplined leadership, and popular resilience continue to shape the balance on the ground in favor of the oppressed.
The Najaf clerics called on the public to remain vigilant against what they described as toxic media campaigns aimed at severing the bond between the people and the axis of religious leadership. They warned against unknowingly serving the objectives of hostile powers through disunity, misinformation, or political apathy.
“Iran will remain strong and dignified,” the statement concluded. “The Leader of Islamic governance will continue to serve as a guiding light through the darkness of sedition, and mounting pressures will only strengthen our collective resolve to remain firmly attached to the path of divine unity and resistance.”
