Officials Responsible to Address People's Livelihood Issues

Senior Shia source of emulation Grand Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani said," These days we receive many complaints about livelihood issues. All the officials should pay attention, their duty is to look after and attend to people's livelihood problems. They have to do their best so that no one goes hungry, or a family becomes financially poor."

Hawzah News Agency- Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Vahid Khorasani, at the end of his Shari'a questions session on Monday, January 22 during statements on the anniversary of Imam al-Hadi's (PBUH) martyrdom, gave advice to the members of the religious board and officials.

The senior scholar's statement is as follows:

Reviving the traditions of the family of Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of God be upon them, is the duty of all of us.

Our actions should be suitable for the status of Imam of the time (may God bless him and grant him peace).

The case of the martyrdom of Imam al-Hadi (PBUH) is related to Imam of the time (may Allah bless him and grant him peace).

Revival of this martyrdom anniversary is a condolence to the Imam of the time, because Imam al-Hadi (PBUH) is the great ancestor of the Imam of the time.

God willing, all the religious boards will join hands to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam al-Hadi (PBUH) with greatness.

At the end, Grand Ayatollah made some remarks about the economic situation in Iran and said," These days, we receive many complaints about livelihood issues. All the officials should pay attention since their duty is to attend to people's livelihood problems and take care of them. They have to do their best so that no one goes hungry, nor a family becomes financially poor. If they dedicate themselves to serving the orphans of the family of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), their reward will be infinite."

"God willing, all of us will be able to serve the Shia of the Imam of the Time (PBUH)." Grand Ayatollah concluded.
