Mamousta stated,” Kurdistan province has a very high diversity in terms of religion and culture compared to other parts of the country, however, we can see that people are following a peaceful coexistence and so far no one has been able to create division between them.”

Hawzah News Agency- Sunni scholar Mamousta Mustafa Shirzadi, the Friday imam of Marivan city, in an interview with Hawzah News in Kurdistan, said,” Fortunately, despite the religious and cultural diversity in our country, we have not witnessed any confrontation between the followers of different religions, which should be considered as a result of the insight manifested by the Iranian people.”

He added,” In the meantime, Kurdistan province has a very high diversity in terms of religion and culture compared to other parts of the country, however, we can see that people are following a peaceful coexistence and so far no one has been able to create division between them.”

Pointing out that common sense dictates that we should always be alert to the conspiracies of the enemies who try to undermine the unity of the Islamic world and Iran, Mamousta Shirzadi emphasized,” On the other hand, it can be seen that some people are seeking to create religious and ethnic discord among the Iranian nation with false and absurd excuses. Undoubtedly, these people and currents work with planning; they have sinister plans for the future of this country.”

Friday Imam of Marivan City said,” When the unity of the Muslims is overshadowed by the false propaganda of the enemies, it will be easy for them to implement their arrogant plans in this country and in any other country, so today the tactic of division is much more effective than military invasion.”

The Sunni scholar further stated that the Islamic world has had many shortcomings in the media aspect, and reminded,” Unfortunately, Muslims have acted so poorly in the media field that today we can see many worthless media such as "Charlie Hebdo" easily insult the holy sanctities of Islam and Muslims, such acts should be seen as a consequence of a huge media void in the Islamic world to defend the interests of Muslims.”
