Hawzah News Agency- Ayatollah Mahmoud Rajabi, a member of Qom Society of Seminary Teachers and head of Imam Khomeini's Educational And Research Institute, made some remarks regarding the anniversary of the adoption of the Iran’s constitution saying,” The constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran is a rational, logical, religious and scientific constitution.”

He pointed out that the constitution of our country is completely compatible with the culture of our nation; In addition, the issues of "monotheism" and "prophethood" are also mentioned in the constitution and the rights of religious minorities are respected and preserved.”

“All people, regardless of their religion, have equal rights in the society according to the constitution.” He emphasized.

He further pointed out,” The Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran is the only constitution in the world that was put to the vote of the people in 3 stages. Those who wanted to draft the constitution were elected by the people. After the constitution was drafted, it was put to the people's vote. In the rewriting and amendment phase, it was also put to the vote of the people.”

The member of Qom seminary and university professor at the end considered the constitution of Iran to be comprehensive and complete and added,” In this constitution, the political, social, security and legal dimensions have been carefully considered and it is a great support for the system of the Islamic Republic as well as the people of Iran.”
