Hawzah News Agency- Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani had a meeting with the Iranian Minister of Agriculture, Sayyed Javad Sadati Nejad on Sunday, November 13 while describing the scope of the activities of the Ministry of Agriculture and the importance of food security Grand Ayatollah said,” Your responsibility is very crucial since you are in charge of people’s food security, therefore all your efforts should be made to improve the food basket and the availability of necessities. People should be fulfilled, and they should not have problems in providing their needs.”

This Shia source of emulation further called attention to the health of agricultural and livestock products as very important and added,” it is essential to work with proper training and detailed planning so that agricultural products are of complete health and free of harmful substances.”

Grand Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani considered the promotion of agriculture as one of the important means of neutralizing the imposed sanctions of the enemies and pointed out,” regarding these matters, modern science and past experiences should be put to use, the hardworking farmers and gardeners should be supported and their problems must be solved.”

Referring to the lack of water and low rainfall in the past few years, Grand Ayatollah added,” due to the lack of water in Iran and the fact that the rainfall has decreased in past few years, a suitable agricultural pattern should be planned based on the climate of different regions in order to take the most advantage of the existing conditions. “
