A group of scholars and seminary figures from the seminaries of Khuzestan province met and talked with Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the director of Iran’s Islamic seminaries.

Hawzah News Agency- a group of scholars and seminary figures of Khuzestan province met with Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the director of Iran’s seminaries on Wednesday, September 28, and expressed the concerns and issues of the province's seminary.

During this meeting, Ayatollah Mousavi Jazayeri, the representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Iranian Assembly of Leadership Experts, welcomed the attendees, especially Ayatollah Arafi, the director of Iran’s seminaries.

In addition, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Shafiei, the representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts stated,” I hope the presence of Ayatollah Arafi will be a good step for the seminary of Khuzestan province to develop its programs.”

The representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts further said,” "Thanks to the presence of Ayatollah Arafi and the emigration of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) from Mecca to Medina, we hope that Ayatollah Arafi's visit to Khuzestan will lead us towards the right path."

In other parts of the ceremony, Ayatollah Abbas Kaabi, another representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Leadership Experts and member of Qom's Society of Seminary teachers, Hujjat al-Islam Mousavi Fard, the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader in Khuzestan, also gave a speech.

At the end of the meeting, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the head of the Iran’s seminaries, expressed some points regarding the new approach toward Khuzestan seminaries and highlighted the need for more attention and effort.
