Hawzah News Agency- Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Sayyed Reza Fatemi Amin had a meeting with senior Shia scholar Grand Ayatollah Hussein Nouri Hamedani at his office of in Qom on Friday, September 2 during which he stated that the amount of car production in Iran has increased by 120%, aluminum by 15%, and steel by 5%. Today, Iran is facing a shortage of workers in some industrial towns such as in Qom province.

He added,” Iran's export volume has increased from 35 billion dollars in 2020 to 48 billion dollars in 2021, and this year, compared to last year, the country's non-oil exports have increased by 40%.”

Emphasizing that the transformation of the economic situation is the priority of the Ministry of Industry, the Iranian Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade said,” reforming the preferred currency as one of the sources of economic corruption at the beginning of this year caused inflation and price increases, but now after overcoming the inflationary shock we are witnessing inflation control.”

He mentioned the inclusion of the prices of 54,000 goods that are directly related to people's daily life in the system and websites related to the Ministry of Industry and the establishment of a comprehensive trade system as two root remedies for high prices in the country.”
