Hawzah News Agency- Hujjat al-Islam Habibullah Shabani, Friday Prayer Imam of Iranian City of Hamedan stated that prayer was the first and last commandment of divine prophets and stated,” The philosophy and reason for prayer is that man confess to God’s divine authority.

Pointing out that the first verse in prayer after Bismillah is praise to the Lord of the Universe, he said,” The more prayer develops in society; the better a person knows his God.”

Emphasizing that the world is a place for human education and growth, the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader in Hamedan province reminded,” Personal development has been discussed both at the beginning and the end of the world and therefore human beings should try to actualize their talents in this world.”

Friday Prayer Imam of Hamedan emphasized that paying attention to prayer in every society leads to the reduction of social harms and said,” Prayer is the principle, standard, indicator and criterion of whether we are on the right path or wrong.”

Referring to the enemy's attacks against prayer and the religion of Islam, he noted, “The adversaries are out to separate us from our foundations and beliefs with all their means and devices in cyberspace and real world.”

The Chairman of Hamedan Provincial District Council appreciated the actions of Hujjat al-Islam Hosni, the head of Hamedan province prayer headquarters and concluded by saying, “In a narration from Imam al-Sadiq (PBUH) he said that if two Rak'as of individual prayers are accepted, God will not punish that person in afterlife.”
